Terms & tool limitations

Use TableMender to inspect and transform files you are authorized to process. Keep an original copy and check every output before relying on it.

Supported work

The first release accepts CSV/text with comma, semicolon, tab or pipe delimiters. It provides text-only XLSX export, UTF-8 CSV export and optional cleaning rules. Removing duplicates keeps the first chosen key and discards later whole records; it does not merge conflicting values. Trimming and CSV formula protection intentionally change values. Review the result and export scope. It does not read existing Excel workbooks, recover lost values, infer business rules or validate a file against every destination system.

Limits and responsibility

Input is limited to 5 MiB, 20,000 records including the header, 256 columns and 250,000 cells. An individual field is limited to 32,767 characters. Browser memory and application behavior vary. Structural errors and uncertain delimiters require your attention before an export.

Review identifiers, non-ASCII characters, record counts and any formula-like content. CSV formula protection intentionally changes selected values. A text-only workbook may require deliberate type conversion for calculations.

No guaranteed outcome

The tools are offered as available, without a promise that an export suits a particular business system or that missing data can be recovered. These terms do not override rights that applicable law does not allow to be waived. TableMender does not provide professional data-recovery or compliance certification.
